Before we get into today’s conversation, there’s something I think you might enjoy…
It’s a seasonal journal-notebook-planner called Your Woven Year, designed to help you slow down, reflect seasonally and stay connected to what matters across the ebb and flow of the academic year. Your Woven Year is for anyone who wants to create with intention, move at their own pace and gently reweave a rhythm that fits.

Marinading in lots of different influences
The next episode of The Human Behind the Work is live and this one is full of warmth, depth and the kind of clarity that lingers long after the conversation ends.
I enjoyed a thoughtful conversation with educator and speaker Will Ord, whose lifelong work has centred on thinking, connection and what it means to educate, not just teach. Will’s approach is anything but ordinary.
We reflected on the importance of inner education, teaching young people to understand their own minds, values and emotions. On bringing some oxygen back into the system and what it means to live with gratitude, and to see everything we have as a gift.
One of my favourite moments was when Will described the principle that sustains him:
“Everything I am, and everything I have, has been given.”
You’ll find quiet provocation in this episode and a gentle invitation to pause, question and return to what matters. You can connect with Will via his website, Thinking Education.
This conversation was originally recorded as part of the World Education Summit and you can now access four years of Summit content free at www.weslegacy.com.
If you enjoyed the episode, I think you’ll also enjoy my conversation with Professor Jo Boaler.
Thanks for listening to Space to Think, a podcast where I create space to think through conversations with guests exploring their knowledge, insights and stories. Each conversation holds the potential for ideas to grow wild.
