Many of us joke about or flippantly comment on our perfectionism or describe ourselves as a recovering perfectionist. It’s something we’re probably all familiar with in different ways, often it comes with shame, perhaps a heaviness or slight embarrassment, or maybe we see it as a badge of honour.
My guest Lucy, is on a treasure hunt, curiously exploring all things perfectionism and, in particular, its place and impact in education. We unpack some of the definitions and research around what perfectionism is, how we might recognise it and how we might work with it rather than having it work against us. Lucy openly shares about her relationship with perfectionism in life and writing.
